וַאֲחַזְיָ֤ה מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה֙ רָאָ֔ה וַיָּ֕נָס דֶּ֖רֶךְ בֵּ֣ית הַגָּ֑ן וַיִּרְדֹּ֨ף אַחֲרָ֜יו יֵה֗וּא וַ֠יֹּאמֶר גַּם־אֹת֞וֹ הַכֻּ֣הוּ אֶל־הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗ה בְּמַֽעֲלֵה־גוּר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽת־יִבְלְעָ֔ם וַיָּ֥נָס מְגִדּ֖וֹ וַיָּ֥מָת שָֽׁם׃
און װי אַחַזיָהו דער מלך פֿון יהוּדה האָט דערזען, אַזױ איז ער אַנטלאָפֿן דורך דעם גאָרטנהױז. אָבער יֵהוּא האָט אים נאָכגעיאָגט, און האָט געזאָגט: שלאָגט אים אױך אױפֿן רײַטװאָגן. [און זײ האָבן אים געשלאָגן] אױף דעם אַרױפֿגאַנג פֿון גור װאָס לעבן יִבֿלְעָם. און ער איז אַנטלאָפֿן קײן מגִדו, און איז דאָרטן געשטאָרבן.

And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

And the dwellers of Jerusalem made Achazyahu, his youngest son, king in his place. For all of the first (sons) had been killed by the Arab troop that had come to the camp [viz. 21:17]. And Achazyahu the son of Yehoram king of Judah reigned.
